Railway police intensifies vigil on ''bogus agents'' in Jammu

Jammu, Jun 6 (UNI) In a bid to keep check on black marketeers of railway tickets, the railway police here has strengthened its special team to intensify vigil on ''bogus agents'' at railway station here, an official source said today.

A special railway police team was constituted a few months ago with an idea to keep close surveillance on ''bogus agents'' selling fake tickets to the passengers, he said.

''The special team has been strengthened to tighten noose against false agents involved in black marketing of tickets at railway station and they will be under scanner,'' a senior railway police official told UNI.

The team constituted after a spate of complaints from the passengers, would monitor the reservation counters round the clock, he added.
