2 killed in IPCL plant blast in Mah

Mumbai, June 6 (UNI) Two people were killed and 50 injured when a blast occurred in an Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (IPCL) plant at Nagothane in Raigad district today.

Raigad police control room sources said the blast occurred when maintenance work was being carried out in the plant.

The two people were killed on the spot. Some of the injured have been admitted to the Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital at Khalapur while the others were shifted to a Mumbai hospital.
