Govt officers to seek prior appointment to meet CM

Chandigarh, June 5 (UNI) Government officers or employees desirous of meeting Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would now have to seek prior appointment from his office.

Orders in this regard were issued here today by the Chief Ministers Office.

An official spokesman stated that these orders were issued after the Chief Minister noticed that government officers/employees come to his office/residence without appointment in the morning and keep on waiting till evening.

The spokesman said that the Chief Minister has also directed that all officers/employees desirous to meet him at his residence should seek appointments from his OSD or his personal staff at the residence.

All heads of departments have been asked to issue these instructions to the concerned officers/employees.
