Bihar: 4 teachers suspended for misusing funds

Saharsa, June 5: Four headmasters of middle schools and an accountant were today suspended for misappropriating government funds meant for development.

District Education Superintendent Satyendra Narayan Yadav said the headmasters were found guilty of causing irregularities in government funds sanctioned for construction of school buildings.

Those suspended included Aasha Lata Sinha of New Colony Middle School, Shyamal Kishore of Jail Colony Middle School, Chandeswari Paswan of Mahua Bazar Middle School and Funni Lal Das of Saur Bazar Middle School.

Besides, an accountant of the Education department was also suspended for misusing funds.
