Farmers block roads demanding seeds and fertiliser

Dharwad, June 5 (UNI) Farmers resorted to rasta rook for over two hours protesting against inadequate supply of seeds and fertilizer in the district today.

The agitating farmers who have blocked the vehicular traffic in the district have alleged that while fertilisers are available in bounty in private godowns while government-run farmers centers bore empty.

The farmers however withdrawn their stir after Deputy Commissioner Srikar assured them for the adequate supply of fertilisers in two days.
