Cabinet approves long-term reconstruction plan of Arunachal Pradesh

New Delhi, June 5 : The Union Cabinet today gave its approval to the long-term reconstruction plan of Arunachal Pradesh, an estimated cost of Rs. 399.20 crore over two years.

The Government will also release the Additional Central Assistance (ACA) to the State for implementing the reconstruction plan in the form of grant component totaling Rs. 359.28 crore as an additional to the gross budgetary support.

The State will raise the loan component of Rs. 39.92 on its own. The net grant of ACA amounting to Rs. 359.28 crore will be released in two equal installments of Rs. 179.64 crore each.
