Akalis, BJP appoint coordinators for Municipal Commitee polls

Chandigarh. Jun 5 (UNI) Dr Daljit Singh Cheema, Secretary of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and Mr Kamal Sharma, BJP General Secretary have been appointed coordinators for the Municipal Commitee polls to be held on June 30.

The announcement was made here today as per the decision taken in the meeting of the Co-ordination Committee of SAD-BJP held here yesterday.

In addition, 20 leaders from each party have been appointed observers for the 20 districts of Punjab for the polls.
