5 minors among 70 injured in road mishap

Hajipur, Jun 5 (UNI) Altogether to people, including five minors and six women, were injured when a state transport bus collided head-on with a private bus on NH 77 at Gardania Chowk under Gurhaul police station area in Vaishali district today.

Police said the state bus was on way to Darbhanga when it collided with the private bus going to Patna on the Hajipur-Muzaffarpur highway. 70 passengers travelling in both the buses, including the driver of the state bus, were injured, some of them seriously.

Four of them, stated to be in a critical condition, were referred to Patna Medical College Hospital while others were admitted to local hospitals, police added.
