ABVP agitation against Bangladeshis
Bhopal, Jun 4 (UNI) The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) would stage a four-stage countrywide agitation against infiltration of Bangladeshis.
''The first phase -- beginning next month -- will be at university level and envisages a public awareness campaign. The second stage will be at town level in the form of an Anti-Infiltration Week from August 14,'' ABVP state Secretary Hitesh Shukla said at a press conference here today.
The Week's agenda includes a resolution, to be adopted by students and the common man, for evicting Bangladeshis. In the third phase, public representatives and district magistrates would be handed a memorandum demanding Bangladeshis' eviction.
The last stage envisages seminars and rallies at Siliguri, Kolkata, Bangaluru and Delhi, he informed.
''The ABVP's National Executive meeting, at Hubli from May 28-31, described such infiltration as a grave danger to the country. An Indian Students Leaders' Conference will take place at Patna in September,'' Mr Shukla added.
