Youth drowns while trying to save minor's life
Omkareshwar, MP, June 3 (UNI) In an attempt to rescue a child from drowning, a man drowned in the Narmada river at Poti Teerthghat in Omkareshwar town, police said today.
Yashwant Choudhary, resident of Dharamraj Colony in Indore district's Aerodrome area, arrived here to offer prayers with his family yesterday. While taking holy bath in the river, he saw Gaurav drowning and in an attempt to save the young boy's life, he drowned.
Chaudhury's body was yet not recovered, police added.
