Congress worries for future after recent defeat

New Delhi, June 1, 2008: India"s ruling Congress party is quite worried over its disastrous defeat in the recent Karnataka assembly Election. The party lost to the Bhartiya Janata Party who has formed a government in the state.

The Congress Working Committee or CWC announced that it would soon form a small committee to assess the factors responsible for the party's poor performance in recent elections.
