Govt. to ease airlines' fuel woes: Praful Patel

New Delhi, June 3, 2008 : Rising inflation in India has hit almost all sectors of industries. With fuel prices rising, the aviation sector is one of the worst hit. Indian government is concerned about the impact of rising jet fuel prices on the financial health of airlines.

Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said in New Delhi on Monday that the government will explore options to ease pressure on the carriers.
