Pregnant woman jumps to death in well, delivers baby

Jamnagar, June 3 (UNI) A woman in an advanced stage of pregnancy jumped to death into a well along with her two minor daughters near the Jamnagar Air Force station.

The impact forced the woman to deliver the baby in the well, which also drowned, police said.

The incident occurred three days ago and the bodies were recovered today. The woman was not a local resident, police said, adding that her identity is yet to be established. Police have also not been able to ascertain the reasons, which led the woman to commit suicide.
