Haryana to hold Farmer Development Workshop in Sirsa
Chandigarh, June 3 (UNI) With a view to providing latest information regarding agricultural techniques to the farmers, Haryana Agriculture Department has decided to organize a Farmer Development Workshop and Agricultural Exhibition from June 9 to 13 at Sirsa.
A spokesman for the Agriculture Department said that all the agricultural allied departments would provide the information to the farmers to increase the productivity of Cotton, Paddy and Bajra crops and use of latest implements through the medium of models and stalls.
He said detailed information of various schemes of animal husbandry, agricultural equipments, modern techniques, fisheries and horticulture being carried out by the government would be displayed in the workshop.
He said various problems faced by the farmers during farming would be sorted out by agricultural experts in the workshop. To familiarise the farmers about various schemes, such workshops would also be organised in other districts of the state, he added.
