Four killed, 9 injured in heavy rains in Dumka

Dumka, June 3 (UNI) At least four people died and nine were injured following heavy rains and strong winds in different areas in the district in the last 24 hours.

Police today said one Munnu Tudu of Ramgarh police station died as ligtning struck him while four others were injured in the incident.

Two more died in lightning in Hansdiha and Raneshwar police station while five labourers were injured in the incident, police said.

In another incident a fourteen year-old boy died after a huge tree fell down on him at Dumka-Nonihaat road in the district.
