CBI raids SBI employee's residence

Patna, June 3 (UNI) CBI sleuths today conductd raids at the residence of State Bank of India (SBI) Employees Association General Seceratry J N Singh in connection with a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.

Official sources said the CBI sleuths raided Mr Singh's residence following a tip-off in which the central investigating agency had been informed about huge and unaccounted propertiy possessed by Mr Singh beyond known sources of his income.

When asked about the recoveries, the sources refused to divulge the details of the seizure, saying that the details of the case could be disclosed only after the raid was over.

The documents and other articles seized during the raid would be assessed, the sources added.
