Indian envoy's house in Islamabad damaged in blast: MEA

New Delhi, Jun 2 (UNI) The Indian High Commissioner's residence in Islamabad was damaged in a bomb blast today, but no one was hurt, the External Affairs Ministry here said.

''Yes, there has been some damage to the Indian High Commissioner's residence in Islamabad. Fortunately, no one in the residence has been hurt in the incident,'' a Ministry spokesperson told reporters.

At least eight people were killed and 28 injured in the powerful explosion outside the Danish embassy situated in one of the most sensitive and posh areas in Islamabad.
