Holistic health camp on muscular dystrophy from June 7
Mumbai, Jun 2 (UNI) Shri Ramkrishna Arogya Sansthan will organise a holistic health camp for muscular dystrophy patients at Vile Parle in North West Mumbai, from June 7 and 8.
The two-day health camp will provide total health care to patients of muscular dystrophy, which is a progressive muscular disease, a release said here today.
Muscular dystrophy falls under the category of the neuro-muscular disorders, where the muscles stop synthesizing dystrophin, a type of protein which is vital for the normal muscular functions, which is essential to life.
Patients can avail of services like ENT experts, eye specialists, genetic expers, physiotherapists and others under eminent doctors like Dr Rajesh Beni, Dr Khadilkar and others, the release added.
