Couple from Maharashtra fell ill, two children died in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 2 (UNI) A couple from Maharashtra fell ill seriously and their two children died in a hotel here under mysterious circumstances, official sources said today.

They said a couple Shayam Krant, his wife and two children were lodged in a hotel at Sonawar here.

Their son Preetmash and daughter Harista died while the couple fell seriously ill, the sources added.

The cause of death was not immediately known but the sources did not rule out the possibility of food poisoning.
