3 killed, 44 injured as bus falls into gorge

Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 2 (UNI) Three women were killed and 44 injured, ten of them seriously, when a State-owned Transport Corporation bus fell into a 40-foot deep gorge at Rapur Ghat Road in this district, today.

Police said the bus was proceeding from Kadappa to Vakadu when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

While two women were killed on the spot, the third succumbed to injuries at a hospital. The injured were admitted to hospitals in Nellore and Rapur.
