Stress on medicinal plants cultivation in MP

Bhopal, June 1 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar today exhorted maximum participation of farmers in cultivation of medicinal plants.

While inspecting the Minor Forest Produce Processing and Research Centre at Barkhera Pathani village on the state capital's outskirts, Dr Jakhar stressed on the need to increase export of medicinal products, an official release said here.

Recently, the Centre had received order from Rajasthan and Haryana to the tune of Rs 2.46 crore and Rs 7 lakh respectively, the release added.
