Tribal students shines in MP Board exams

Bhopal, May 31: The organisations under Tribal Development Department secured 86.83 per cent, 12 per cent more than last year, in Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education in 2007-08 result, official sources said today.

These organisations had majority of Scheduled Caste students. The excellence result in Burhanpur, Sheopur, Hoshangabad, Khandwa and Chhindwara varied from 90 to 97 per cent while Sidi, Umaria, Barwani, Shahdol and Anuppur districts badly performed by securing 71.42 to 84 per cent.

Education from primary to higher secondary was being provided in 89 blocks of 19 tribal-dominated districts of the state.
