One drowned, woman knocked to death in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 31 (UNI) One person was drowned while a woman was knocked to death and three others were injured in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said police fished out a body from a canal at Kangan in Ganderbal.
About half a dozen persons were drowned in the canal during the past two months.
A vehilce hit a motorcycle at Sheri Bhat Zadibal in the city outskirts causing on the spot death of co-rider Kulsuma, wife of Mir Assadullah.
They said two women were injured when a three wheeler hit them at Shopian in south Kashmir. The injured were hospitalised.
A motorcycle hit and injured Ghulam Mohammad Malik at Nadigam, Pulwama. The injured was rushed to hospital.
