Man ends life by jumping in front of train

Phagwara, May 31: An old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping over before a running train last night near Chiherru Railway station on Phagwara-Jalandhar rail section, police said today.

The man was identified as Charan Singh of Mohalla Bhagatpura here.

Police has handed over the body of the deceased after conducting postmarterm examination in the local civil hospital.
