Defence Minister collapses at NDA parade

Pune, May 31: Defence Minister A K Antony collapsed while reviewing the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 114th batch of the National Defence Academy (NDA) here this morning. The Minister had just completed his speech exhorting the cadets to dedicate themselves to the nation and promise a materially better life. He asked them to uphold the highest traditions of the defence services. Mr Antony was taken away for medical treatment after he had the fainting bout.
