Book on Gujaratis' contribution for Mumbai released
Mumbai, May 31 (UNI) A book on the contribution of Gujaratis for the development of city was released today by Maharashtra NCP president Arun Gujrati and the president of Mumbai Gujrati Samaj, Hemraj Shah.
The book, 'Mumbai Gujrati Gaurav', is written by Mulchand Varma and is about the 19th century Mumbai and the contribution made by the businessmen from Gujarat for the development of metropolis.
While releasing the book, Mr Gujrati said ''Mulchand Varma will be remembered by the readers through this book.'' Mr Shah said along with Maharashtrians, Gujaratis have also contributed to make Mumbai a financial capital and the translated version of the Gujarati book will soon be released in Hindi and Marathi.
