3 killed, 9 injured in theatre roof collapse
Bijapur, Karnataka, May 31 (UNI) Three youths were killed and nine others seriously injured when the tin roof of a theatre collapsed following thundershowers at Hattarakihala village in this district today.
Managooli police said the mishap occurred when the villagers were watching a play during the annual village festival.
While two people were killed on the spot, another died in a hospital. The injured were admitted to the district hospital.
The deceased were identified as Mallakayappa Honnappa (12), Srishaila Basappa Dalavai (20) and Vinod Chandrashekarappa (25).
