Village Accountant trpped by Lokayukta sleuths
Bangalore, May 30 (UNI) Lokayukta sleuths today arrested a village acountant of Bidar District for accepting a bribe for showing an offical favour.
A Lokayukta press release said that Sunil, a Village Accountant working at Mangalagi village in Humnabad taluk had allegedly demanded Rs 5000 to incluce the entries of partition in the land records.
The accused was trapped when the complainant Channareddy was paying a bribe money of Rs 5000 by the Lokayukta officials.
The accused has been arrested and produced before the judicial magistrate, the release added.
