Rupee climbs at 42.57/58 against USD

Mumbai, May 30: The Rupee today climbed up at 42.57/58 against the US Dollar, appreciated about 21 paise from its previous close of 42.78/79 per dollar, on positive market sentiments in the opening trade.

The Indian currency gained in early deals after the government eased overseas borrowing rules for local firms and increased the limits on foreign investment in domestic bonds, dealers said.
