Mopa airport report to be presented to PM: Kamat

Panaji, May 30 (UNI) The final approved draft report of the proposed international airport at Mopa in North Goa will be presented to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by the second week of June, Chief Minister Digamber Kamat today said.

Mr Kamat, speaking to newspersons here, said the high-level committee, headed by him, held a meeting in which the committee approved, in principle, the final draft report of the proposed airport, prepared by the International Civil Aviation Organisation( ICAO).

The committee has directed North Goa collector to complete the required formalities for land acquisition, the Chief Minister added.
