Member of Fauji gang arrested

New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) Delhi Police have arrested a member of the dreaded Fauji gang, involved in about half a dozen of criminal cases in Delhi and outside.

Thirty-two-year old Deepak Maharaj, who had been on the run ever since he came out of jail in 2006, was arrested from Sector 16 in Rohini on May 28 by a team of the crime branch.

Deepak, who played an active role as a muscle man during MCD elections last year, was wanted in two cases of robbery and two cases of murder.
