6th class student commits suicide in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 30: A 6th class student committed suicide in the Kashmir valley last evening, official sources said today.

They said Humayun Mushtaq hanged himself to death at the second floor of his Safipora, Ganderbal, residence.

It was not however, immediately known why Mushtaq took this extreme step, they said adding police had initiated investigation.

This was the sixth suicide in Jammu and Kashmir during the past four days.
