Two die in cloud burst in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 28 (UNI) Two people, including a 15-year-old girl, were killed and an equal number wounded due to a cloud burst in south Kashmir district of Anantnag overnight, official sources said today.

They said the teenaged girl, Nazia, was killed on the spot due to the cloud burst at Hapatnar in Anantnag.

Thirty six-year-old Gul Mohammad was also killed due to the cloud burst when he was walking in a paddy field at Kraloo Check Churat in the same district.

They said two girls, Shahnaza (8) and Rehana (6), were injured due to lightning at Sedow Shpian in south Kashmir. They were hospitalised.
