Relief Commissioners to meet today to review monsoon preparedness

New Delhi, May 28 : Relief Commissioners and Secretaries of the Department of Disaster Management of States and Union Territories will meet here today to review the preparedness for the South-West Monsoon.

Several Central Ministries, departments, organizations which perform emergency support functions in the wake of natural calamities will participate in the conference.

The conference is being organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Union Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta will inaugurate the conference.
