Lashkar militant killed in north Kashmir

Srinagar, May 28: Security forces killed a militant of Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in north Kashmir last night, official sources said today.

They said security forces launched a search operation at village Hihama in the frontier district of Kupwara, following a tip off about the presence of militants.

In the ensuing operation, an LeT militant was eliminated.

One AK rifle, arms and ammunition, besides some Pakistani currency notes were recovered from the slain militant.
