Jet introduces web check-in facility on six soutes

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) Jet Airways has introduced a web check-in facility on its flights to six major international destinations-- Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, London and Brussels.

The passengers travelling on these sectors can check-in on the web, select their seats and print their boarding passes, Jet Airways Senior Vice-President Gaurang Shetty said in a statement today.

The passengers will have to report at the check-in area for document verification and to check-in their baggage, not later than 75 minutes before the departure of their flights.

First Class and Premiere passengers as well as JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members can avail of this facility up to 48 hours prior to the departure of their flights.

JetPrivilege Silver and Blue Plus members can web check-in 24 hours prior to their departure.

From 12 hours till departure, all remaining passengers can use this facility.

''The check-in facility will enable the airline to boost efficiency in terms of volumes of passengers processed at the relevant airport terminals,'' Mr Shetty said.

The airline plans to progressively introduce web check-in facility on its North American and other international routes.

It introduced the facility on its domestic routes on October 10, 2005.
