'I'm shocked I lived past 30,' says Kristin Davis

London, May 28 : Sex And The City star Kristin Davis has revealed that she feared she would be dead by 30 if she didn't quit drinking.

Speaking openly about her battle with booze, the 43-year-old admitted that she gave up drinking at 22 after a stint in rehab.

Davis insisted her heavy drinking nearly destroyed her, and she is convinced she wouldn't be alive today if she hadn't kicked her addiction.

"I really didn't think I would pass 30. I drank a lot when I was a teenager. I had a fatalistic viewpoint," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

"I miss it. You don't go to rehab and then suddenly it goes away," she added.
