HC rejects bail plea in Chelambara Bank Heist Case
Kochi, May 28 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today rejected the bail plea of four accused in the Chelambara Bank Robbery Case.
Justice K Hema dismissed the application stating the offence alleged was serious.
The incident related to the robbery of 74.9 kg of gold and Rs 25 lakh from the South Malabar Gramin Bank in Chelambara in Malappuram District on December 29 last year.
The bail applications were filed by accused Joseph, Shibu, Radakrishnan and Kanakeshvery.
