Bus runs over two minors; mob attempts lynching driver

Bareilly, May 28 (UNI) A mob attempted to lynch the driver of a speeding bus which killed two minors in Dayorniya area here today.

Salman (10) and Afzal (8) had gone to a tailor's shop to pick their new clothe, which their parents had gifted them for scoring good marks in their exams.

The minors were crushed to death by a private bus at Richa-Pilibhit road.

Villagers caught hold of the bus driver and beat him brutally.

However, he escaped and surrendered before police.

Later, the villagers protested by blocking the road, but ended the agitation following the intervention of police.

The driver was taken into police custody.
