Varanasi, May 27 : A Varanasi scientist Ambud Sharma has bagged scholarship of 50,000 dollars for developing an indigenous computer cooling system.

The cooling device named 'Heat Buster' is unique as it uses water instead of conventional air-cooling system in computers.

"I have developed a cooling solution for the computers. Without AC (air conditioner), computers become hot and get hanged or at times stop working altogether. I have used water instead of air to beat the heat," said Ambud Sharma.

Absence of air conditioner at his residence was a boon as it prompted him to work for a device.

Sharma has earned appreciation in Atlanta, USA, during International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) for his invention.

Sharma was a part of eight-member team, which represented India at ISEF.

He was rated excellent among 1500 contestants among 52 countries and was felicitated with IV Grand Award.

His achievement has made his parents proud who never fail to thank the Almighty.

"We are very happy on his achievement. He has made us proud by his performance in a technologically advanced country like America. He has done well among scientists of 52 countries. I am thankful to God for his munificence," said beaming Rajendra Kumar, father of Sharma.

Moreover, icing on the cake was his selection for the prestigious scholarship of 50,000 US Dollars, which would enable him to go for undergraduate programme in Florida Institute of Technology.
