Three JD(S) workers killed in a road mishap
Bangalore, May 27 (UNI) Three Janata Dal (Secular) workers were killed and two others injured when a tempo in which they were travelling dashed against a Milk Van at Mallasandra in Tumkur District, about 60 km from here, today.
Police said two of the workers Suresh and Kumar were killed on the spot. The other succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
The injured were admitted to government hospital in Tumkur.
The victims were returning after congratulating the newly elected JD(S) MLA S R Srinivas from Gubbi.
Mr Srinivas visited the hospital and inquired about helath of the two injured party workers.
