Three children drown in Sita river

Mangalore, May 27: Three children, including two girls drowned in Sita river in the limits of Bramhavar police station in the district today.

Police said the children, who had come from Suratkal, along with their parents for an engagement function drowned after slipping into the water while playing near the river.

The deceased were identifed as Soumya, Sumana and Gururaj, police said.
