Silver, gold open high on bullish global advices

Mumbai, May 27: Values of spot silver and gold today opened high from their last close on reduced offers by stockists in view of bullish advices from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said. Silver opened at Rs 25,050 per kg, while pure gold at 12,930 per ten gm. Both silver (999 finesses grade) and standard mint and pure gold varieties rose by Rs 95 per kg, Rs 80 per ten gm and Rs 85 per ten gm respectively on fresh speculative demand from local jewellery makers.

In the London and Asian markets, gold was quoted high in a range of USD 925.30/927.50 per troy ounce and silver touched a high at USD 18.27/18.31 per troy ounce from their last finish, traders added.
