Rs 6.32 lakh looted from PNB in Gaya

Gaya, May 27: Armed miscreants looted Rs 6.32 lakh from the Garua-Bazar branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) under Garua police station area in the district today.

Official sources said six armed miscreants entered the bank and made hostage the customers and officials with the help of their arms.

The miscreants managed to get the key of the main locker and decamped the site with the booty after injuring the bank manager when he protested, sources added.

Later, police reached the spot and sealed all the exit routes.

Raids were on to nab the culprits, sources informed.
