Mob stages demonstration against exclusion of Khaga tehsil

Fatehpur, May 27 (UNI) Thousands of people today created ruckus on G T Road to protest the exclusion of Khaga teshil from this district in Uttar Pradesh.

A couple of days ago, the state cabinet had decided to exclude Khaga tehsil from here and merge in Kaushambi district, sources said.

The furious mob blocked the road, demanding re-inclusion of Khaga into this district.

However, taking note of the demonstration, the district administration tightened security at Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Murlidhar's house.
