Mahto holds Tata Motors responsible for gas leakage

Jamshedpur, May 27 (UNI) Jharkhand deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto held the Tata Motors management responsible for the chlorine gas leakage from the company's water treatment plant, in which more than hundred people were affected today.

Talking to UNI over telephone from Ranchi Mr Mahto said, ''It's a gross negligence on the part of Tata Motors.'' Mr Mahto, who would visit the site tomorrow along with Chief Minister Madhu Koda said, he had talked to the officials of the company management and asked them to find out the persons responsible for the leakage and take stern action against them.

BJP leader Saryu Rai from Jamshedpur while stating that the leakage was a serious concern for all, said it revealed lack of security measures in the plant. He also urged them to make a fool proof security for the employees of the company.
