IT conducts searches on builders' premises in Nagpur
Nagpur, May 27 (UNI) Sleuths from the Income Tax (IT) department conducted search operations on the premises of several builders and land developers here today.
The 'Search and survey' operation was carried out at a total of 15 premises of builders and land developers in the city, according to IT sources.
The operation began early this morning, and was expected to continue till late night, the sources said.
When contacted, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) Vidarbha D V Dharmik confirmed that a search and survey operation was being carried out. He declined to give any more information, saying the operation was still on.
