Haryana peaceful but vigilant about Rajasthan: Hooda
Chandigarh, May 27 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the state government was vigilant about the ongoing agitation by Gujjars in neighbouring Rajasthan.
''As far as Haryana is concerned, such protests are so far peaceful,'' the Chief Minister said while interacting with media persons in Haryana Vidhan Sabha complex here.
He said the government of Rajasthan should resolve this issue amicably and in a peaceful manner.
Mr Hooda said if the ruling party in Rajasthan had made a promise to gujjars in its election manifesto, it should now try to settle the issue as such agitations hampered the pace of development not only at state level and but also at the national level.
