Fire destroys property worth lakhs in Kota

Jaipur, May 27 (UNI) Property worth several lakhs of rupees was reduced to ashes in a fire, which broke out in a departmental store in Dadabari area in Kota today.

However, no casualty was reported in the incident.

The incident took place around 0300 hrs, when fire engulfed the store in Kota town, police said.

Meanwhile, fire fighters were pressed into service to put out the blaze.

The cause behind the fire was being ascertained.

Investigations were on.
