BJP aims to soar Hindu-Muslim relations: BSP

Deoria, May 27 (UNI) Charging the Opposition parties of playing caste-based politics in Uttar Pradesh, the state Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President and Cooperative Minister Swami Prasad Maurya today said the state government believes in ''equality'' and ''benefit of all.'' Mr Maurya at the Town Hall here said, major political parties like the BJP, Congress and SP wanted to come to power at any cost.

''The BJP does not even care about communal harmony and want to achieve power by igniting religious battle between the Hindu and Muslim,'' he alleged.

These political parties have misled the people of the country, he said.

Lauding the efforts of his government, he said the BSP had doubled the pensions of physically disabled and widows, besides, recruitmemt process for 88,000 teachers and 28,000 sweepers was on.
